Since 2003, Fernando de Almeida and Veronica Siqueira are partners in Fernando de Almeida Yacht Design Studio where they design boats up to 67 meters and have projects built by various shipyards such as: Inace, ProBoat , Rio Star, Jim Smith Tournament Boats, Intermarine, Spirit Ferretti, Sedna, GT Boats , Beneteau Brazil and Southern Wind.
FERNANDO DE ALMEIDA
Half-Italian and half-Brazilian, Fernando is graduated from Mechanical Engineering at the Mackenzie University in São Paulo. He is son of the awarded Brazilian architect, Eduardo de Almeida.
Before starting his own studio, he worked for notorious design studios where he participate in important projects:
In Wally Yachts, in Monaco, he conceived Wally 143 Esense and the award winning Compasso d´Oro ADI Wally 80 sailboats.
At Nauta Yachts, based in Milan, he participated in the design of several sailing yachts, including the Nauta 70', My Song 84' and in several other projects of sailboats from 78' to 130'.
In Bertram Yachts, in Miami, he participated in the interior of the whole range of sportsfisherman from 28’ and 72´ boats.
VERONICA SIQUEIRA
Graduated in Architecture and Urbanism at the Armando Álvares Penteado Foundation University, she also studied at Politecnico di Milano Architecture University and made a SMEs MBA at FIA, Fundação Instituto de Administração.
Since 2003, she is partner at Fernando de Almeida Yacht Design Studio based in São Paulo.
Before that, she worked as graphic, web and furniture designer
In Milisich Design Studio, in Milan, she designed furniture and campaigns for several Italian furniture brands, such as Misura Emme, Baxter and Dear
In Rom, a web agency based in Nice, south of France, she worked as web designer providing digital design services for clients in the surrounding region of Nice, Monaco, Cannes, Grasse, Saint Paul de Vence and Menton
